I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), and am also a trained mediator, having trained with the Northern California Mediation Center in Marin. I specialize in the mediation of divorce and custody related issues, and work to reduce the conflict within the family and create solutions that will facilitate a peaceful and equitable resolution. As a "730 expert" Child Custody Evaluator, I am experienced working with custody issues for the Family Law Courts, and bring that experience into my mediations.

I have gained an understanding of the Family Law system from many perspectives, and work effectively but compassionately, with an awareness of just how stressful a time this can be for the family involved.  As a single parent myself, I am aware of the importance of putting children's needs first, and of parents learning how to coparent effectively for their children's sake regardless of what happened in their marriage.  In the fifteen years I have been licensed, I have worked effectively with a wide variety of individuals and couples from many backgrounds and with many diverse issues, and bring this experience to my work.
